BENEFICIARIES

We work with tribal communities in remote areas and slum dwellers from city area. Our direct beneficiaries are youth (men & women) and children

OUTREACH

Presently we are working in 20 tribal villages & 6 slums across 3 districts of Maharashtra state in India.

So far, directly & indirectly benefitted 2500 families (around 10000 population) through various projects. We are working with a mission to reach out to 1 million people by 2025.

A BIG WHY

Why we work with Tribals

Our key founders are Anthropologists having keen interest in tribal areas.

These homogenous tribal communities not only keep indegenous culture alive but also conserve forests.

Due to cultural & physical alienation most of our tribal counterparts live in extreme poor conditions.

As an Anthropologists we found it our primary duty to protect their cultural, economic interests for better future & harmony in India.

Why we work with Slum dwellers

Cities like Pune where our HQ is based has 50% population residing in slums. It is going to be a big challenge to mainstreamise growing aspiring young population in slums.

Harmony & cooperation between the slums & comparative richer population will be the key to future survival of cities.

YOJAK runs innovative programs with youth & children from slums.
